Summary of research

During my B.Sc. in Psychology and my M.Sc. Research Master in Behavioral and Social Sciences (specialization social and organizational psychology) at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, I have focused on social and personality psychological phenomena while also receiving in-depth training in statistics and psychological research methods. For my PhD, I have decided to broaden my scope and delve into sport psychology and psychophysiology with a research project that was based on the biopsychosocial model of challenge and threat at the University of Essex in the UK. Next to my studies, I have been interested in clinical psychology (being involved in a research project focusing on EMDR as an adjunctive treatment of depression), positive psychology, and medical science.
